Hi
I’m in the process of fitting a Propex water heater but want someone to make and test the gas connections - any ideas re North West Norfolk (near Kings lynn. Seen a few adverts online but looking for advice since not local to this area.

(Also want to replace gas bottle hoses and regulator - GasLow - ready for refillable system so could combine this job).

Aware I could do myself, and may still do, with have family pressures at the moment and would prefer to lighten the load.

Thanks

most gas engineers are mobile arent they? whats the difference between working on your house and working on your MH on the drive? the most difficult thing will be to find a gas engineer who has their lpg certificates from corgi, as lpg is a different regime and entails different testing and therefore more money to corgi ..... do a search and get the phone going !!

Try PP&H gas at Kings Lynn.
Long established local company dealing in LPG. Not sure if they just supply or do the fitting as well but worth a look.

Thanks for all the advice and suggestions really helpful and always feels better to have recommendations. Have decided to pay to get it sorted and give me pace of mind so will make a call or so later this week.

Thanks again Rob

I use Justin at Premier Caravans. He does my habitation check at my work place in Kings Lynn and is very good.

Hi Just got back to deciding on this - two months of daily hospital visits has made anything else challenging ?. Anyway thanks for all the advice and after a few calls and a chance drive past Macdonalds Caravans and popping in for some water fittings they convinced me with their pleasant manner and what feels like a great price. I need to purchase the GasLow bits and then find a breathing space to get the van across there for the hour or so they need.

But thanks for all the help whilst in an unfamiliar part of the world.
