- camping and caravanning since a kid. New to motorhomes
Am getting to a point of looking at renewing my phones and contracts.
Times have changed since the current ones were updated.
And I am a creature of habit and I know some of your will cry in disbelief but I still look at the main players and not piggy backers. I have two contracts but through work.
I still bank with Barclays and have done since 18. TBH not really ever had an issue. Despite their reputation.
Any way while looking at current provider, Vodafone, I noticed that many of their new contract are also including EU roaming anyway. Albeit with a 25GB fair use limit.
So in reality nothing much has changed.
What I think I will do is replace both the current ones, I want new phones anyway, and add a third contract as a sim only deal to give 75GB EU data roaming. Business pays for them for next two years anyway…. Then retire
One thing that does also go through the mind with ever changing to get the cheaper deal etc is that due to Martin Lewis’s constant bashing, when the market had an issue many companies went bust and the big players are mostly what is left with resulting spiralling prices. Food for thought
Anyway back to phone contracts.
