Put that on the back burner for awhile....

Where the lift out post will have to go is the same spot as the original post..

And that is at least 6 - 8 inch concrete going into a massive lump of concrete at ground level..

We`ll need a pooomatic drill to make a dent in that...

So if your not man enough to get that thing of yours through 10 footysies... You have had it....

Ok, VeryOldChappie, how high is the post on the right hand side as you go in. The trouble I have, is Managements lift on that side. ;)

Ok Winnie is 8ft 5” without the mirrors, so that leaves me 19” to play with. Certainly the lift is nothing like that, but tomorrow, I will do a bit of measuring to see what slack there actually is, but with a 74” post I fear the mirrors will come into it.

But methinks, you might be pulling Michael’s chain. :boxing:
