Wonder if there is and can show me how to update my maps :winky::RollEyes:

Simples, pay them loads of money and they send you the update for free

Just connect your Tom Tom to your computer you will get more than enough guidance from Tom Tom on how long it has been since you connected and how much better they are since then

In fairness I have just paid £60 rather than buy an alternative, I don't like change :thumb:

Dead easy if you have a lifetime map update package. Mine receives daily updates if I want them.

If you don't have the package buy a device that does - cheaper ::bigsmile:

agreed.....just one click once logged in and your maps are up to date..

First map update is a monster on a new machine as other updates need to be downloaded at the same time.

My first update was 6260mb and on my super duper high speed BT broadband (yeah, right ) took over 3 hours

free lifetime map updates on new machines are valued at around £88.

As long as tomtom continue support for a particular nav there is no ongoing cost.

Trouble is mine was / is about 4 years old now, I think I got a couple of years updates with mine from new, £60 was better than the price of a new one, until it stops working :thumb:

started when I was 11 with my parents-forgot to stop!been real one since 1980!
I got my updates from here http://www.globalgps.co.uk/ because I didn't register the unit in time for the free updates. They do a range of satnav updates.
