Problems at home

Ive had some really bad luck this last week so I,m trying give plenty notice to you.

My in laws who are both in there Eighty's flooded there house this week end,the father in law had just been released for RNR from hospital as he has pneumonia,they sent him home for peace and quite believe it or not as they recon he would be better of at home , , he also has heart failure,what a night for him,couldn't even turn the stop cock of as he had no strength in him,so called me then the fire brigade. .

The downstairs of the house has concrete floors so after 8or 9 hours it filled up like a swimming pool ,resulting in a very badly damaged home.

We couldn't let the insurance company put them into a hotel as both there healths is failing badly,so we have moved them too our house. They have lived in there own home for over 51 years and at the moment they are very confused with ours and cant work anything out,so we wouldn't feel safe leaving them on there own.. We have been informed it could take up to 3 months before the repairs are done as apparently they cant start work because when the carpets were removed there were plastic tiles underneath ,and the glue used to bond them to the floor has a trace of asbestos ,so a specialist team has to be brought in to remove them ,then it has to be dried out completely stripped and redecorated. I am just letting you know the situation we are in at the moment and give you advance notice we might have to pull out at short notice due to the above situation, but we are desperately trying to make alternative arrangements but our family must come first . We are really looking forward to this meet so will try and make it but if we cant and let you down we are sorry.

If you would prefer we will pull out now and give our space to a reserve rather than leave it to the last minute,I am also willing to pay for my pitch if we cant get there either way is fine by us>>.

Really sorry to hear about the in-law's problems with the flooding, and hope that you and they, are inconvenienced as little as possible, as a result of it all.

You are absolutely right, family comes first, however, here's hoping that other arrangements can be made for their care with other family members, whilst you both have a wee break at Misterton.

Our 3 will be with us Isaac and Isabel @14 and Jacob 16 .

The Misterton meet is now less than a week away and we are looking forward to welcoming you all to this pleasant village and a lovely site. As 1 or 2 funsters have had to pull out of this meet we do have space for others to come and meet the (nutters) sorry funsters, please dont be backwards at coming forward we dont bite honestly.

Its our wedding anniversary this Thursday:smalllove: , were a lot less than you two at 16 years but im sure we will get there in the end .
I can read him like a book now so by then , well , i will know what hes going to do before he does
