Can anyone shed any light on what is missing in the photo and if I can get a replacement? Thanks Funsters

Upside down u shaped tube and an upholstered armrest which attaches to the tube.

It looks as if it's something that the previous owners installed. Could it be that they installed a small table for drinks? It doesn't look to be a N&B standard thing.

It is standard N+B, there was an armrest there originally, our Flair had the same but I imagine it will be difficult to get another although not rocket science to make or have one made if the OP have or could get some upholstery material.

We have the same in our Arto 2003. It is the storage for the forward table extension.

Look under the front of the table and you should see some slots to insert the table extension.

The table extension is designed for use with the length-wise flap under the table also rigged, and the extension has a curved edge which wraps around the forward edge of that raised flap.

When the table is slotted into that storage it has a cover matching the other upholstery. It does form some sort of armrest for the forward seat of the sofa but is not padded. We use it with a cushion to form a backrest for the person stretching out on the forward part of the sofa, and with the other person stretching out from the rear, feet overlapping, we can both stretch out together.

I hope the description is sufficient for you to envisage it.

With the flap and the extension in place and the front seats swivelled one can easily sit 6 around the table in comfort. However we have only seldom done that but utilise the backrest much more.

You could have an arm rest made up with tubes designed to slot into the fixtures. I suppose you, and we, could have an armrest cover to slot over the top of the extension when stowed.

It is a pity somebody has nicked yours - maybe ask up the line of sellers as it may be in someone's garage/loft. I cannot think of much use for it except in the MH, because of the unique shape.

Without a pattern it might be difficult to have a replacement made so you might have to go to N&B to get one

It's definitely for a beach umbrella/sun shade for when you have the roof vents open, honestly ..:pinocchio:

I wonder how model specific it is Geoff?
