Just bought some of those prophylactics for the door mirrors from Mirrorguard. Anybody got any tips, to make fitting them easier?

I had them on my last motorhome.

The fit was perfect
If you have a problem contact the firm they should fit without problems..

Ah yes
Instead of smashing just the mirror casing, these will help you smash the entire mirror assembly and half the door off in one go :thumb:

Yes I had one hit in France the mirror folded in with a load bang.
But no damage.

IMO they are well worth fitting.

They do seem to be a good idea,as Meor has tested them i will treat myself and buy some .I will report back if and when i get a hit .LOL.:thumb:

You must use the small rubers that work like shokabsorbers.
What i dont like is they could be stolen they are only held on by being a tight fit. And dobble sided tape.
If I ever used them again i whould put a screw in them.

You can buy them cheaper at the shows.

He is not allowed to sell them vat free for cash:winky:

mirror guards,

Hi, I had to use a lot of washing up liquid to get them on and a lot of huffing and puffing on my 2006 van boy are they a tight fit :Smile:
