Hi all we get the new home on Thursday Fiat Ducato chassis’s and I’m looking to fit some mirror guards my problem is I’m not sure which ones to go for not to concerned about cost just want to fit the best ones for protection any advice much appreciated thanks . This is my first post hope I’ve done it right

Looks like you've got a ghost, it says you've made 8 posts so far  Hope to see you keep posting, its a good way to learn and make friends(y). I'd recommend the Mirror guards rather than the cheap imitations. They certainly have saved my mirrors.

Sorry Still learning didn’t reliase reply’s counted as posts

We went through wing mirrors at the rate of one a year until we got Mirrorguards. In our defence most of the losses were due to circs beyond our control.

A good buy.

Another vote for Mirror Guards. They are very solidly made. If you get the white ones they make your mirrors much more visible to oncoming traffic, I often notice people move over as they approach on a bend, even 4x4 drivers!

We are going to mask ours up and paint an orange line across ours :)

There are loads on the market but BEWARE of the cheaper ones

Search out which version you need (Long arm short arm with indicator ) find a shop with physical stock and take a look

Do not rush into this because once fitted you should not need to remove them

So does a nice Yellow circular sticker @Jim does a nice line in them

Is it only me that found fixing the Mirrorguards on to be a bu**er of a job? I did exactly as the instructions say but they fell off, and I had to try 3 or 4 different kinds of double sided tape before I found one that actually stuck. Even now I keep expecting them to fall off!

Mirrorguards for us. I haven't tried them out in anger yet but looking at them side by side with the cheaper brands you can see why you are paying more.

Unfortunately I have functionally tested mine on a few occasions and definitely would say that without or with the milenco ones, my mirrors would not have survived.

Our van (preowned ) already had Mirror Guards in place. I can't compare them to other makes but they seem well made and are easy to put on and off.
I wonder if the previous owner forgot to take them off or just gave up motorhoming.

thanks for all the feedback looks like its mirror guards on the shopping list
