just a note to anyone planning to enter Portugal at Miranda do Douro and hoping to stop at its municipal site ... DON'T ! ... After a very long drive (even longer because I forgot you loose an hour into Portugal) we were greeted by the sign on the locked gate saying "Closed - Sorry for any inconvenience!!
Luckily there is a much nicer municipal at "Vimosa" about 20k towards Braganca .. Total of 8euros for MH 2xadults / EHU & pool ... Showers and facilities equalled CC club standards ... Even had fold down ironing boards ( much to Alison's amusement )
