In case anyone is thinking of visiting in the very near future. It looks like they are doing it up and resurfacing, so it is unusable at the moment.

Thanks for that Ven and Dave.
The refurbishment is not before time! We intended to stay there on 02/08/2015 on our trip around the Basque country, but when we got there we thought it was terrible, so moved on to stay in Haro for the night - much better, even if it was just a car park.
I will follow their refurbishment with interest - many thanks again.

Don't worry @JJ we had BurgerKing before we moved on to Capbreton.

We actually like the old area, I think the graffiti put people off but we've had many a peaceful night there. Plus it's a great place to stock up on Brandy and Rioja before returning to France
