van conversion
Hi. This is my first post and first motorhome.

But I may of made a mistake already buying the van. It’s registered on the v5 as a 16seat minibus weighing 5t. But it has just had an mot as a minibus and with only 5seats including the drivers.

My question is can I drive this with a category C license? I think can drive any vehicle with a rigid body, but I think only up to 4.5t minibus.

Any help is much appreciated. TIA

I think with a cat C licence you are limited to 3.5t
(Minibus or not, unless it's fitted with a disabled lift)

Solution: Upgrade your licence or down plate the van
