Although Angela and I are really enjoying this weekend in Scotlandshire I'm seriously thinking of suing the organisers due to misrepresentation issues.
I can't find any mention of all this strenuous malarkey that's going on.
Atlantic swimming yesterday, tour de Cumbrea cycle race today, kayak racing/falling in race tomorrow, probably mountain climbing on Monday before we leave
I'm going to need a holiday after this lot

You can tell Sue is at home with that rifle @Sue+dogs ”don’t mess with me”. If I ever feel threatened I want to be parked next to her.

The full day kayakers set off from millport and circumnavigated (big word ) the island of little cumbrae...
Stopped off for lunch in an old castle with fantastic views of the area..
Before returning to millport to meet up with the afternoon paddlers...

If anyone is still looking for somewhere to stay on the way south to Dumfries you might like to try the Camping and Caravanning site at Culzean Castle. It's about 15 miles south of Ayr on the coast road.
Great views from the site, and plenty of walking in the grounds of the castle.
