Having had a lot of fun over the past 15 months with Millie the MLI 580, we have now picked up Millie#2 from Travelworld and are spending the first few nights of ownership away at Goodwoods.
Then off to Eddie Van Bitz for a Growler to be fitted before returning home.
Although we've not travelled far in it - less than 200 miles - first impressions are very favourable from the driving side. I was apprehensive about the comfortmatic gearbox but need not have been. Not as smooth as an auto, sure, but in my opinion much nicer than a manual, especially with the 180bhp engine we have.
We're also very pleased with the habitation side/layout so far.
I also realise this could be honeymoon period rose tinted glasses thing
and reserve the right to be critical at some future point
We had an excellent service from Travelworld, who went out of their way to ensure we were completely happy with the van before we left them, even though we decided on pick - up that there were a couple of extra bits we wanted fitted and that their workshop hadn't scheduled in. Some may say that's what you should expect when spending a lot of cash, but all too often it's not what you get - so worth mentioning.
