Just had my annual renewal quote with a firm I am happy with, based on last years mileage (6000) of course only done about 1000 this year and next year will be similar unless the continent opens up.
What effect on premium have you found by reducing your annual mileage? say to 3000.
I know I can ask them, but would like an idea of what others have experienced.

The issue with insurance quote comparison requests such as yours is that there is no answer, a quotation from any insurance provider is tailored to you & you only, there are so many differing factors involved, one size simply doesn't fit all.
The only way you'll obtain factually correct info' specific to your unique situation, is from your insurance provider

To give you a guide I reduced my mileage with my insurer due to the covid situation earlier this year from 10000 to 6000 and they refunded me £50.

I reduced from 10,000 to 8,000 and it was €20 cheaper.

I've been limited to 12,000 I wanted 15,000 like last year, but 12 is the new maximum

I reduced for 8,000 to 6,000 this year saved £30, previously I increased from 8,000 to 10,000 it was an extra £50.
