Just a head ups. Large tented village full of migrants in Nantes city centre around major car parking area - for anyone planning a visit, you may want to avoid parking in that area. We travelled in by car and parked near the cathedral in the underground car park. When we strolled around the centre i was surprised by the numbers of people begging. They were also at traffic lights etc waiting for vehicles to stop.
