Hi all
Might be preaching to the converted here, but am very tempted to buy a used Franka i600 (Fiat 2.8 jtd). Know very little about them - any opinions?
Thanks.

since 2007, 25 years tuggin before that.
We had an old Frankia & found it a well built quality van, in fact, if it had been the right layout we might still have it.

I looked at them four years ago and was extremely impressed, so much so that this year having almost made up my mind on a new Carthago I decided to look again at the Frankia's which impressed me so much four years ago and ended up buying a new one purely on design and build quality.

Yes, still built in Germany, but the company is part of the Pilote group.

I've had Hymers and hobby and think Frankia are as good if not better than Hymers and leave Hobby trailing in the dust

Very happy with our 7400 platin. 10k miles in 8 months so far.
The odd niggle easily sorted, but essentially very happy and would buy same again.
I would have bought a Hymer (Travelworld were very good to us) but no chance of a decent oven (Can't understand why a live in motorhome would not have a decent kitchen).
A delight to drive and the underfloor heating is lux!

You are going to buy "FRANKIE"???

Does JJ know about this? Are you mad? He's an Axe Handle across the Shoulders, 6ft 4in built like the proverbial long drop, chews nails and shaves with an Angle Grinder?

OK Funsters send your donations for a wreath to my secret Swiss bank account based in the Cook Islands, usual thingee number etc etc!

Decided against a Frankia, so it's going to be a Mercedes Hymer Automatic!
Might have to wait a while to find one in my budget!
Don't mind the age, but got to be less than £15k.......
