Hi Everyone could anyone recommend a good mifi will be travelling all over Europe and Scandinavia also costs If possibly not at all clued up with this at all so any advise would be great

I have a mi-fi which is great but many a time I just use my iPhone. Very rarely had an issue all across Europe.

Data is always the issue but I have just ordered a SIM card from Tiekom with 300 Gb data per month (other threads cover this)

I have a 5577 without an aerial connection and it is useless. My iPhone works much better

My 5577 works well with or without aerial, in Devils Bridge Wales we had no tv or phone signals , but mifi worked well without aerial just used it in Italy and France without issues

You need an aerial then, mine works great with aerial and the booster pack sold with it.

Don’t suppose you have a model number for the one that takes an aerial please? Mine came with aerials but no where to plug them in on the 5577.

E5577C is the one with TS9 aerial ports…….

Sorry for delay and thanks to AndyPK for finding a link. It is the 5577c and here us a picture of the booster as supplied by Motorhomewifi.com

This has a power lead running to it which you can see at the bottom left and lead to Aerial top left.

Thanks for that Otter Spotter Looks like I will have to buy one with a “c” after it. the power booster looked interesting so may need one of them as well.

It really does work, I could watch utube at Hermaness on Unst in Shetland even though both our mobile phones could not get a signal, without longing into the 5577c.
