    Thanks @tonka

The last one I had (a voadfone linked unit) the ebay codes didn't work but I quite like EE, I find I can generally get a signal from EE even here but other networks aren't so good.

I see it is 3G and not 4G but that should be fine for email I think????

3G.. More than good enough... 4G if you want real fast streaming like for movies etc BUT as it downloads faster you get tempted to use it more and hence use up your data.. Surprised you had problems getting one unlocked, everyone i have done or told people about seem easy enough.. Maybe a duff code from supplier.

I tried 2 codes from different suppliers and went into one of those shops that unlock stuff. In the end I decided it was a bad job. The shop man did say that a lot of the codes that used to work may no longer do so and that you only get so many attempts.

But thats a Dongle so need to be in a laptop / PC... Ok if thats what you want it for.
Beauty of a MIFI is that it can be used stand alone, shared on 5 devices at same time inc tablets.

In the words of the song "That's what I want!" The tablet is okay but I much prefer the laptop for business use.

But what I would really like is a small(ish) laptop that includes a basic printer! Many moons ago they were available as I had one. Pre-windows I think.

Just noticed they are down to £19.99 with 6gb data ( and can be unlocked for 99p as Tonka says)
