Many thanks for a great weekend to sheila mick and all the crew ,

The brilliant socialising idea of the pub signs , The Tea n Cakes and the Amazing Sunday Breakfast , Quizzes ,Hog Roast , Hula Hooping , limbo dancing of course Micks Beer ....

I think it's also worth a mention to the Musicians , who volunteered to entertain , I think we had the most variety of music for a long while
We had at least 3 Funster bands as well as solo musicians and singers that got up and had a go , ( Very nerve wracking for some )

Graham Guitar (graham & jane ), Vinny Harmonica , Steve and Denise accordions & squeeze box , Caller whistle & Bodhran , Simon Guitar & Harmonica , Ken Cajun & Tambourine ( Canopus ) , Suggy 12 string . Song writer and Ukulele player Geraldine , and last but not least Jeanette ( Roncab ) on vocals backed by a load of Funster musicians ....

Well done everyone concerned and thanks again for a great weekend .

Thanks to all the team, both official & unofficial & to all the other funsters who make this an enjoyable weekend.

Just having a bit of lunch in the middle of a wet & windswept Cumbrian fell. For @cliffandger 's benefit, we are about to drive through Caldbeck. Won't be stopping though if this weather keeps up - would need windscreen wipers on my glasses to read anything in this weather.

We can only echo everyone's comments - a brilliant weekend, with lots of different elements expertly brought together by Sheila, Mick, Shirley, Andy, Jane and team.

The walks were just long enough, the cakes were delicious, the pork rolls succulent - and the Flying Scotsman and Red Arrows flypast were a genius addition! ;)

The pub sign trail was really good, although it felt a little weird peering in through windows, while occupants were eating/chilling/peering back at you.......

The entertainment was excellent, very varied, but all good. Simon @dabhand I'm looking for duets for the next meet!

It was wonderful to finally meet Phil and Andrea @Scout and to see for ourselves how well he looked. Looking forward to seeing you again at 'The Likely Lads' FFF meet.

Meeting new Funsters, catching up with mates - All in all - as usual - we had a blast! (y)

I gave Clifton's sister a calendar with all 12 months depicting different pictures of their family graves from Caldbeck church, she wasn't appreciative - I can't think why not ..... ;) Hope you're having a lovely break away.
