That's typical Microsoft. You will beta test our half finished product for free whether you want to or not.

Best guess is it's supposed to be all mobile device swipey touchscreen friendly so that won't suit me. I want something that runs on a real computer with a monitor and mouse.

I tried W10 for 24 hours. Saw it's only purpose was for M$ to emulate Apple and extract £££££££££££ via M$ this, M$ that so I rolled back, very easily, to W7. It did work OK but it was like living in a KGB house.

Now it keeps inviting me back to the club. It has no pride.

"What bit of F*** O** don't you understand M$".

"Oh YES" says W10, "I've hooked another sucker, life is good".

Never tried to get me to buy anything either and I use loads of non M$ software. would rather have the OS up to date so that support is always an option. do you keep your antivirus software updated? then why not the operating system

"upgraded" my win 8.1 lappy a few weeks ago for free and everything was ok till last week when it refused to connect to internet, connects to WiFi both at home and at work and I even tried it with a wired ethernet but still no internet connection. Given up with it for now and using my Win XP Panasonic Toughbook for now. Will try a rollback to Win 8.1 when back at home.

Just upgrading my Panasonic Toughbook ( C30 mk3) to Win 10 on our very slow broadband. Should be downloaded by tomorrow afternoon, or so........
If it all goes wrong I'll just leave it and carry on with my Macs.

so, after starting the download last night, it finally finished and installed a couple of hours ago.
First impressions ( upgraded from Win 7, the latest Windows system I have used) its the first version of windows that doesnt feel like Win 95.
After using it for a couple of hours.....meh!

"Yes, these are real people."
Shouldn't that be "Yes, these are real Americans."? :ROFLMAO:

Graham have you seen this one? :Eeek: "Fluent American"

If you can bare it there's at least one more.
