Going to be a pest. Where would be the best place to get MH insurance? I vaguely remember someone saying that Caravan & Camping Club does it if you join or is it Camping & Caravan?

Last time I did NFU & from recollection it was pretty reasonable but we are no longer members of NFU.

What can I expect to pay atm for fully comp & for Europe coverage? Maybe I need to go with a local insurance company as they tend to be reluctant to take on the Irish - have no idea why :ROFLMAO:

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Dot

Have a search in the Insurance section of the forum - there's loads of similar questions in there.

I am in my second year with the C&CC insurance. For us they were good value and were one of the few who would give us Euro breakdown on an older van.
Previous to that Frank Pickles gave me a good deal, but the breakdown cover reduced to UK-only for poor aging moho come renewal so that's when I switched.

We were perfectly happy with both, although thankfully never have had cause to contact them for anything more than renewals so can't comment on the service if you actually need to claim!

    I paid £260 with CC&C this year.

    Hope that helps

    Jamie.

    Try Comfort Insurance,

I just renewed mine again with the brokers (mine is via "MHFacts") and the coverage and policy is really good. Even better, I just changed it today for the new van which is worth half as much again and the premium went up by a whole 15 quid. Full 365 breakdown cover in Europe over 3.5 tonnes as well. :thumb:

Thank you - but they wouldn't give a quote for my postcode area - bad drivers over here :ROFLMAO:

Is that Airsports Insurance? They've just accepted details for a quote.

    Thanks!

Another +1 for Nigel and Darren at AIB. excellent service and a good premium (in my case at least).

    Cheers,
    Lee.
