MH’img in Carpentras

Anyone help with somewhere to park up near Carpentras just north of Avignon. Heard the Funsters community speak about it often, thought we’d take a looksee

We have never parked there overnight but take a look at the disused railway line thread for carpentras and you will see some options.

There is a place but as you say, unsuitable. It's behind a block of flats with dump and free water.
Used it twice but would not dream of staying there.
Place beginning with a P a out 7 or 8 Kms south or one of the railway stations on the disused line would be my options

Lovely area. We used quite a few France passion stops in this area.
Chateau Cabriere at Chateauneuf de pape was great.

Yeh that’s what we found. So we had a nice walk around the market this morning, now at top of mont ventoux, spectacular.
The German van next to us is staying here the night.
We’re off to park4night at Malaucene

Been there done that, they don't call it the windy mountain without reason.
Had to get up at 2am to point the van to the wind. Bike cover ripped to shreds, gas bottles frost half way up them and it was this time of year.
5 or 6 other vans when we stopped come morning only one other van still there.
