Hi, I've bought a water purification system from the USA. It is supplied with the "T" Valve shown. ½" in and ½" out, pass through. The "T" part is supplied by the valve and it's ¼" and I have all of the pipe and fittings for this onwards.

I need to fit the "T" on the cold water supply to the kitchen sink.

My van is a Benimar, made in Spain. It has a flexible pipe that has a barbed fitting that protrudes as a 10mm stem. That stem goes into a push fit fitting, that has a male thread on the end. The flexible tap connector fits onto that thread (See photos).

Somehow I need to fit this "T" between this collection of fittings. After searching for a long time, I'm finding that the search results are very biased to one company and they don't have anything that I can use.

There is very little space under the sink and I prefer not to cut a hole in the side of the van and make an external box, to fit 50 fittings, adapters and converters..... ;-)

I was thinking that if I could find an unequal "T", 10mm" female x 10mm" male x ¼" male, then buy an in line ¼" valve..... This might be my best option. I prefer to use the supplied unequal "T" Valve but the idea of converters, from mm to us threads, just seems like a lot of wasted space and opportunities for leaking.

Any suggestions?? And possible online suppliers, preferably Europe.

Does this sound like a way around this?
If I can find a ½" push fit stem to a pipe barb for the flexible pipe (15mm Outer diameter). And. A ½" push fit stem to threaded end, for the tap connector flexy.

also, would the tap connector flexy nut be a standard size? Would it be American thread or metric thread? Any ideas on this and where I could get them from, on line.

Cheers.

I think the tap connectors are BSP (British standard pipe thread) that tends to be used all over Europe but that's about as much help as I can be.
I can't quite grasp what you are trying to connect to what, a line drawing would help.

Thanks Lenny, maybe someone else will be able to point me in the right direction.

Does this drawing help?

JG Speedfit do a ½" tap connector to 15mm pushfit, your ½" push fit the OD may be the same size as 15mm pipe.

Thanks Lenny HB but I will need a male thread, to fit the flexible tap connector pipe onto, not a tap connector. I'll have a look at thier site and see if they have what I'm looking for.

Have you asked in a plumbers' supply store? I have found they can be very helpful - but that could be because I look like a clueless duck at times.

From what I remember the pitch of US threads is / was not metric ........ I might be wrong about that though.

is this the sort of thing you require. (I’m not really sure what you are doing).

With two of these making it 10mmx10mmx1/4”
