We've just had the gross vehicle weight upgraded but we've only got a sticker to show the new weight, has anyone had a metal plate made to replace the original? and if so, could you give us details. :thanks3:

You can buy vin plates on ebay. I would not remove the vehicle original one though

Thanks @MikeD, we've seen that one, looks ok, just looking at ways of getting it stamped. We don't intend removing the original one, just in case a future owner wanted to have the weight downgraded

As has already been suggested. Just affix the sticker in a suitable place. I also keep the new weight certificate with the V5 in the vehicle just in case I am stopped and weighed by VOSA and they do not have the correct figures.

I wouldn't bother with a metal one the stick on one supplied by SV Tech is acceptable and on door jamb as suggested easy to see if needed.
