cargo nets are commonly used, but I have seen a lovely home made net made from knotted rope like an old fashioned fishing net. It looked really good and was effective keeping a youngster with "issues" in bed. poor little sod had some sort of brain problem so was constantly moving about. the parents had adopted him and were always exhausted, but bed time was a fixed part of the routine. the kid loved the bed though and didn't see his net as bars to a cage

I have had a little look, but can only see 4x4 truck nets

or rally car window nets, but all they are is webbing tape sewn into a woven grid, which is not rocket science to make a replacement. rolls of 20mm tape in multiple colour choices are available cheaply
