Yeah ive seen it ...hate to say i don't like it ... not my thing
Totally agree ,lots of things wrong with it. Too much glass so it will be an oven in the summer and a fridge in the winter, no mention of insulation, is that really matchboard cladding on the roof? I bet the whole thing rattles like a good un. 2 doors on the fridge is a pita. No hanging space but rigid suitcases under the bed? I could go on but....

Fairplay to them for doing it but pretty obvious they have very little knowledge or experience.

Just thought it would be good to see different layouts and ideas .
Yeah i follow about a dozen other vario builds on instagram and youtube and yes ive got good ideas from some of them and other ones have helped to decide what i definitely don't want. What i did notice with that particular one is they built it about 2 years ago but had to replace and re do lots of stuff in it over the winter as it had damp and leaks etc .

I can imagine that in the winter with heating on the inside of those windows will be dripping with condensation.

I like the great airy feel all the windows give but they obviously did know much about using Motorhomes when they built it. They will roast in summer and freeze in winter and have enough condensation to fill a swimming pool.
A porta potty for the loo is a bit naff these days but easy to upgrade & plain silly to put a 210 Lt water tank right at the back.
Tams going to say you need it for the brakes to work.

My water tanks will be almost right at the back too ...they will be right behind rear wheel arches one either side beneath the rear bed. It does need some good weight on the back but mine will have that anyway once ive a bike rack on there šŸ˜

Also if someone could explain a tacho to me so i know how to switch it off that would be handy ...i seem to get one or 2 red lights on it when driving. I dont need to use it but would be handy to make sure its not using battery etc

Bodykit is now off ...to be honest it didn't take much ...it was held on there by one bolt and a prayer lol. But look at that ground clearance ....and whilst the rear end is as rusty as i imagined the rest isn't too bad ...in front of rear wheels most if the cills are fine just needing patched in here and there. The rear will be getting rebuilt and strengthened to carry bike anyway once i cut all the boot out.

Now i know some of you are going to say you liked it with the bodykit better .....but its just not the look im going for nor is it practical for my type of use. So youll just have to trust me for now and all will become clear later in the build.

I think you might need it disconnected correctly as it also limits the speed when the red light comes on at , flatout 56mph.

You won't gain much ground clearance underneath though due to the rear axle/drive shaft.

Yeah that doesn't matter ....it means i can get under there though at any time without jacking it up. And once it has bfg all terrain tyres it will gain 5 cm lift too šŸ˜
