Mercedes Sprinter Sprint shift issues (1 Viewer)

Hi All

I have a MH that’s based on the 316CDI Mercedes Sprinter. The gearbox is the Sprint shift. When driving the Gearbox put itself into 6th from A “auto “ and no longer lets me select A when required. Also I loose power so guessing it’s also going into limp mode. If I turn the engine off and on I can then drive off in auto no problem sometime for a few hundred miles sometimes for a few metres.
I had it put on a star diagnostic last week but no fault codes were spotted.
Has anyone else had this. Any suggestions ideas please

My sprintshift also gave problems. It turned out to be the sender on the rear wheel feeding incorrect speed info to the gearbox.
Very simple and cheap fix, the only problem was getting the old one off as it had rusted on.
