My first post here and hoping it might be the first of many.
Being familiar with the Mercedes Sprinter 313 LWB and knowing of its workhorse ability, I’m considering the conversion services of one of around half a dozen companies that work with the Sprinter and I would like to ultimately use the van for our holidays, but also in relation to my work (in music).
Naturally I will direct my questions to the PVC companies, but I wanted to hear some neutral views from actual users.
One concern is that I am surprised to find so few (or so it appears) Sprinter PVCs being used and I wondered why that might be?
I am also worried about the weight after the conversion.
Ideally I would like up to be able to carry 5 adults (including driver) and luggage etc and fear the gross payload / user payload combined with the vehicle’s weight post conversion, will exceed the 3500kg limit?
I would very much like to hear from any current or former owners with their thoughts and experiences on the above.
