Still don't know if there will be a Meet at Mello 2018 - have contacted the organisers again today & waiting to hear back so can't currently offer an allocated area or Fun discounted ticket price.
If you definitely want to go it might be worth keeping an eye on their Early Bird offer of £70 per person including camping on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mellofestival to see how long it lasts.
Artists (original not tributes!) so far are Soul II Soul, Toploader, Badly Drawn Boy, The Christians, Toyah, The Mariachis, The Jive Aces, Mike Sanchez, The Secret Cabaret, Blind Lemon & many more to be added.
Please note no dogs or pets are allowed at Mello.

Upton Blues keep an eye on this thread https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/upton-blues-festival-meet-19-23-july-2018.157555/page-8 No discount on tickets possible but waiting to hear if first dibs on an area - was sounding positive before but not confirmed yet.
Sunshine https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...24-28-august-meet.144891/page-28#post-2610820 - have sent many messages & emails but our contact has been off on long term leave so no replies but understand that he's back now so have been messaging & emailing again today as would be good to know either way as other rallies at the same time.

Despite months of trying to get a reply from the Sunshine & Mello festival organisers (as they are on track to sell out for both festivals this year) they don't need us for numbers this year so we won't have a Fun & RVOC meet at either of these in 2018 We had some fantastic feedback from last years Sunshine Meet both from members & from the organisers & we were promised a lot for this year but sadly the organisers have changed their plans.
We are still trying to get them to honour their promise (we have this in writing) of family tickets for both Mello & Sunshine which were for a fundraising auction for RVOC member Cassie to help fund her pioneering treatment in Russia for MS.
For anyone who is considering going to Sunshine suggest buying your tickets soon as the price goes up after midnight on 31st January.
We aren't giving up on the idea of festivals & events combined with motorhoming & are pleased that Lymington Seafood Festival & Stratford River Festival Rallies have had such a good response & are going ahead We have been in contact with quite a few major festivals & may be volunteering as Stewards at some this year so will try to convince them that they should encourage more motorhomers!
