Spotted this video on YouTube of a t5 amphibious motorhome

Its nice but I was a little disappointed especially at the price tag

Some of the comments below the video raised a chuckle though

Why? it has the off road capability of a coffee table, and how do you get it in and out of the water , unless you have a proper jetty.

Pointless.

Yeah it isn't what I'd call amphibious it's just off road I thought amphibious was when it could actually float and propel on the water as well as land

no, but where would it go ?

Lets assume you wanted to drive a flooded road, through a river, current would take it away .

Just don't see the point, of cars that float, or fly ,want to float, buy a boat.

It's been posted on here before but described as an off road motorhome rather than amphibian.
Quality build but very expensive for what it is

I'm sure it could cross a flooded road just fine.

Very interesting. It would be very useful if you needed to cross a river.
The owner said they had come up from South America to the USA and therefore it would be a very capable vehicle as not only four wheel drive but with diff-lock as well.

Think the guy who posted on YouTube got the terminology wrong.

Yeah that said when he looked underneath at the spare wheel there didn't seem a lot of ground clearance on it, I've managed to get stuck with 4x4's in the past with twice that gap, I reckon on any real terrain you'd be grounding it and doing serious damage

When you hear the value of the one above at £120k that doesn't sound too bad
