Quick calculation. 2 people.

20 days = 11.37 * 20 = €227.40

31 days = 9.6 * 31 = €297.60

QUESTION: Can we just turn up around the 5th stay as long as we want then pay appropriate rate ?

The rates stated in the first place were calculated on a 2 weeks stay, So let´s recalculate the rates (for 2 persons on a pitch)

For those of you staying 20 days:

Confort Pitch: 11,375 + Leccy
Premium Pitch: 12,74 + Leccy
Luxe Pitch: 14,56 + Leccy

For those of you staying more than 31 days:

Confort Pitch: 9,625 + Leccy
Premium Pitch: 10,78 + Leccy
Luxe Pitch: 12,32 + Leccy

30% discount and Gym & Spa are included in these rates, but only for bookings made before opening.
Electricity is not included and will be charged 0,35€ per Kwh


Regarding your question, yes, you can stay as long as you want paying the appropriate rate, but please be aware that the campsite is almost fully booked for April.

Also, thanks for making a preliminary Rally list, we would need to know what size of pitch are you interested in, in order to put all funsters together. I mean that maybe someone wants a premium pitch, but there are no premium pitches on the funsters area so maybe it has to be a luxe or a confort pitch. As soon as we know a definitive list, we'll be able to better meet your needs.

Thanks for that Raimon, I spent ages working out the different rates yesterdayoh:

We are hoping to stay a bit longer after the rally, not sure if it will stretch to 31 days, might not know until nearer the time it we do, that would take us into the first week of April though. Yes I think we do need to start working out who is coming and what pitches they want.

Would we need to pay a deposit to get these rates.

To save any confusion who is and who isn`t going would it not be best to start a thread. ?

On who is definately going and who will possibly be going..

And to put the size of and type of Motorhome ie: Me RV with all facility`s 32ft long plus trailer.. :thumb:

That way Raimon will get a better idea what numbers to expect...

And only use that thread for that purpose and keep the general talk and banter to the other threads that are running..

If the idea is OK perhaps Jim could start or if not I will.. :thumb:

We will be booking, not decided on the dates yet, cannot stay until the end of the rally as the van will be out of MOT but thought this may be of interest... Raimon must have PM's coming out of his ears!

For a couple plus one dog:

So for a confort Pitch for 16 days (with a dog): 12,06€ per day + leccy

For a Confort Pitch for 31 days (with a dog): 10,20€ per day + leccy

If you come with a motorhome plus the smart is fine, we won´t charge you extra for the smart, if you have a car + a caravan + the smart, that would be an extra car.

Electricity will be charged at 0,35€ per Kwh

Just in case anyone else had the same sort of question

We are in. Comfort pitch. Nominally 5->25 but may go for 31 days. Or less if, thinking the unthinkable, we don't like it.

For those not possessing a calculator....

20 days €227.50 plus electricity
31 days €298.37

Electricity ( discount ? ) is about 3 times the extortionate UK prices, so use it wisely.

We need to identify an LPG filling place for Gaslow FUNsters.

All pitches are fully serviced, fresh water, electric hook up, black and grey water disposal, Sat. TV connection, and wifi internet. The only difference between pitches is their size

Confort 90m2
Premium 130m2 (some might be smaller or bigger)
Luxe 180m2 (some might be smaller or bigger)

The "deal" with wifi is that it's free, there is free wifi internet all over the campsite.

Is there is only one of you, your rate will be slightly cheaper. You would have to withdraw 30% of 2,60€ or 30% from 2,20€ from the daily rate for couples, depending on the time you intend to stay (that's the daily rate for an adult). 1,82€ in the first case (16-30 days) and 1,54€ in the second case (31 to 60 days)

Changed the return leg of our ferry crossing and now intend to stay at Camping Marjal up to and including the night of Tuesday the of 20th March. This allows us reasonable time to get back to Dunkerque and getting Izzy to the vets (though the rules they are a changing we have to work with the present ones as we understand them, sort of) and then a swift unload at home before dropping the van off for MOT. Phew.
Confort pitch please. We will be there at the start on the 5th but will liaise with the most helpful Raimon as we may well get there before then..... that is just too much more to think of just now I need to print off a calendar starting in December and see what is what!

I got the price from the very first post by Jim.....All I want is the figure that I will have to pay...I am numerically challenged and don't mind admitting it..I do not appreciate having the pi$$ taken out of me re. translation of the Mother Tongue !! :Rofl1
