We stayed at a Caravan club site Saturday and we put a small metal (1.5m2) pen on the grass strip behind the van for our miniature dog. No other pitches around.

We were told we had to put the pen in our pitch area only We complied and put the pen on the gravel pitch but I felt it was a bit mean?

This rarely happens on a CL or CS. Thats why I support the small site owner, not these corporate camps!

Never mind RV's Christ knows what they would think if I turned up with ours, gave up on club sites years ago to snobby and to expensive, in some places it would be cheaper to use a local B&B, I think they tend to forget we provide our own accommodation
