T cut is not the best in most circumstances, Meguires is the stuff. but it will depend on what the van is made of, i.e. paint on alloy, GRP with gel coat etc etc.
and
how big the affected area is and what results you expect

Depends on where on the vehicle I.e. the cab area is a metal base and sprayed, the habitation area is usually GRP and is self coloured
Cab area is no problem, it’s like a car, just be careful cos the makers are often a bit stingy with the paint
The hab area needs tackling very carefully, it’s probably not going to be metal
Try a test area first to see what happens, the Hab area panels can get a layer of dead paint on them which needs removing before any sort of shine will come through
Whatever you do (and wherever you do it) cut back paintwork/GRP must be sealed with wax afterwards otherwise you will have wasted your time
Good luck

Yes
Loads of stuff on Utube about polishing
Basically what you are doing is to remove a few microns of surface (the dead paint and grime) and add literally millions of tiny scratches (the shine)
This leaves an open and slightly porous surface which if untreated degrades quickly, hence the need for a surface sealant (usually called wax)

What is the best combined shampoo and polish. I have washed, polished and put a polish protector on mine using Autoglym but it's just too time consuming. I want an all in one/one wash method. Any recommendations?

The problem with those types of wash is that the Motorhome is a bit big and flat roofed to get the run off needed.
I have tried a few without any really decent results.
Bobby dazzler is one that seems to get good reviews

Motorhomes are big, and have a very large area to work on. Whilst it's not unreasonable to be proud of your vehicle, I wouldn't try to spruce it up. You could end up short of elbow grease and have areas of different appearance. Let it take on the patina of use and acquire a character of its own.

That’s a hard one, there are a lot of personal favourites and some folks are very particular about the products they will (and won’t) use.
Lots of discussion on here if you use the search facility, it will probably take you all day to read it.
For me, my product of choice is Collinite 476, it’s semi-solid and comes (from the States mail order) in an old fashioned polish tin.
Guidance and directions for use on-line
However, it’s hard work putting it on (and I am sure the Bl**dy MH grows in size as I am doing it)
I think there is also a liquid version as well with a slightly different serial number
