Long queue for Burgers in Brive's McDs so am parked outside waiting for it to shorten... of course I may as well log on to Fun while I wait...

...can't get into Chat though...

JJ

PS. no problem getting diesel... indeed I have had no trouble at all (he says smugly)...

went past a supermarket fuel station on Thursday which had at least 200 cars queuing and around the corner was an open station and I was third in line... filled up and off I went with a grin bigger than the biggest grin in the world...

You will have to report on quality!

I must admit, having eaten in Pragues one - it was stunning.....do you hear that? A Mc Donalds being described as stunning???

It was tasty, fresh and was just like a real burger cooked on a bbq!...then you look at a UK one and ask how they can serve the congealed, flat rubbish!

Keep us informed......it may be great (hence the queue)

OR..Could be terrible - but not as bad as the one round the corner (hence the queue!!) ::bigsmile:

This my first posting on this forum and I must just add.... A Macdonalds "stunning", you mean like being hit on the head by a hammer?

Please (in a Jeremy Clarkson voice), buy yourself a Jamie Oliver cookbook and enjoy some real food.

Why do we buy motorhomes if not to avoid having to eat junk food?

Something I didn't know .. must be on JJ's list of 'must visits'

Fray Bentos is a town in the middle of cattle country in Uruguay. In 1899 a company called Anglo began making corned beef there. Fifty years later it was a staple of the British diet, and Fray Bentos diversified into soups, meatballs and even tinned fruit!

A local history museum opened on the site in March 2005. The town was originally founded in 1859 as 'Independencia'. Its current name, meaning "Friar Benedict", is derived from a reclusive priest.

Well welcome to the Fun...

McDonald's in France is one place you can pick up wi-fi which is why many Funsters visit them... not for the food but for the connection...
