Any funsters on it this weekend
We had hoped it might be our first MCC meet but we have a couple of appointments on Monday and couldn't get away for the earlier days. Never mind, there will be future opportunities
93 units here Graham so its a good turnout and they hired a large marquee this year :thumb:
I just drove past, seen all the vans, ..... wondered what was on...
we are about 400m away up the hill........
we live there.......
South Shields.... Fond memories. Did all my tickets at Westoe College.
So did I when it was The So Shields Marine and Tech college
The marine section is very small now I'm told
We spent a week here with the MCC Northern Counties Group a couple of years ago. We were made very welcome and had a great time with them. A great location just across the road from the beach, and with good transport links into Newcastle and to the Beamish Museum.
Did my Masters in 1982 - what about you?
spent some time at a little site right opposite Marsden Rock watching the young cormorants fledging. Loved the area with souter lighthouse (reminds me of my time as a mechanic with trinity house repairing them) and along the old mine valley.:thumb:
I went to the dark side :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1: Chief Engineer :thumb:l:thumb::thumb:
Get thee gone, Satan.......:Rofl1: ironically I spend most of my working life with engineer superintendents and fleet managers nowadays - mainly dealing with bunkering Marpol and fuel issues. Us boat drivers seem to be in a minority on the shore side. Cheers :thumb:
JUST GOT BACK YOU MUST HAVE BEEN HIDING AMONGST THE COMMITEE??????
We were in the second row, end van next to marquee ( the row behind the commitee vans) and have our 18 month old grand daughter with us :thumb:
