Maxxair delux question

One for all maxxair delux owners.

do you have to open the unit fully or can you say just have it half open on either manual or electric opening?!

I’m also assuming if you have it on auto vent function, it will open fully and turn on when the temp has been reached…can you alter this at all so it will only open say half way? Can you have it on auto vent at a temperature but not have it automatically open…?!

It’s open or closed. The fan works in both open and closed, just less well in the closed position. It’s not so much open or close but up or down. Even down/closed it still not sealed so is free to vent/allow drafts

Use it open. It has a sensor in if it rains it will automatically close. I have mine set at 10% air out all the time good airflow. More speed if I need to cool things down a bit. 🌧

You can manually half open it, but why would you want to?

Gives me options….it will be near a solar panel, in summer it won’t be a problem but I wanted to know if I could half raise it if I was getting long shadows on the panel if the sun was low.
