My maxfan in the motorhome has stopped opening with the remote or the button on the fan it will only open when I turn the black knob manually , everything else works fine , has any motorhomers had same issue with theirs

They do, often, get stuck and then need to be lifted manually as to unstick them. So i think it may be possible that something has broken between the drive motor and system. Do you get any noise when just pressing the open/close button?

Hi no can't hear opening motor at all nothing happens with either remote or panel on actual fan , fan works as supposed to just opening of the lid remotely that doesn't work

That’s why I’m saying check for voltage at the actuator when you press open. If none, then pcb gone, if there is, the motor is gone. If you can open manually, then it’s not jammed.

Thanks Raul, I'll check voltage and hopefully find out what the issue is .
