We need to replace our sleeping bags and have been looking a getting a mattress topper to make sleeping a little more Comfortable. has anyone got any suggestions for 2 x single bed size

Another vote for Duvalay; had our two singles for over 10 years. They are a bit on the heavy side, though; so if you're close to your weight limit they may tip you over.

Bodymould mattresses in Rusper, West Sussex will make a topper to the exact dimensions, shape and thickness you want, quite reasonably priced and do a great job. We leave ours on the bench seats, they fit exactly and are covered with a throw so just lounging around have super soft seats all day long and no storage to worry about as with duvalay etc.

Just purchased 2 x "cool" memory foam bespoke memory foam mattresses toppers (5cm) with zipped covers and a very reasonable price and they are really good quality.

We've just bought 2 cheap single toppers from Dunelm. Not tested in anger yet but seem comfy enough. During the day they squash into 2 large cushion covers, super comfy lounging and no storage issues.

Just looking myself at the Duvalay, want for our dinette that becomes large double..at present use a duvet to lie on, but looking for long time comfort..will put in my birthday list :X3: 🤞

I have a double bed with usually comfortable mattreses, two siingles that are zipped together.

As I'm usually sleeping alone I do sometimes park myself on the zip, which was not good.

Right on time the Middle of Lidl had a deal on toppers, in a variety of bed sizes and thicknesses.

I bought the thickest and it worked a treat.

As is with Lidl, no brand and a low cost price, £24 comes to mind.

Another vote for Duvalay. They will produce a made to measure topper the correct shape for your awkward shape Motorhome bed.

We bought our mattress topper from one of the pound shops. It’s not very thick but it’s enough to,take out any irregularity in the cushion.

We used Duvalay freshtec as well, am selling if interested as sold our MH, unsure about postage though.

Duvalay as Despicable said are heavy, I bought a Duvalay Gold for our double rear bed but it was too heavy ,making lifting the bed very difficult, its in the shed now, that was a waste of £200.

Our topper is a Silentnight one. It isn't memory foam so stays cool in hot weather. Quite thick but light. We have a too-firm Bultex mattress.

I think I bought it from Amazon a few years ago.

oooh dear, was hoping the toppers would be comfortable but not heavy, as w wanted to store away in the day, when dinette was put back up

Yes, was also looking on line at silent night...reviews were hit and miss, to be fair that was Argos..not Amazon

Thanks for the suggestion on Bodymould. Good prices and excellent service ordered May 4th and received today.

We joined the Club this afternoon! Did our best drawing of the Burstner mattress with the 10cm x 10cm chamfer and placed the order with Stacey at Bodymould around 4pm. As a backup, I did send a photo of the mattress shape from the Burstner Owner's Manual ... Belt, braces and sock suspenders approach. comme d'habitude.

I took a photo then drew the measurements on the photo. They did the chamfer really well I have to say.

My drawing was on a [very] old school jotter sheet, but I did use a biro rather than an old school pencil ...

Bodymould Memory Foam Mattress arrived around 18:15 this evening. An almost perfect fit for the chamfered Burstner mattress [the marginal discrepancy is down to my measuring rather than the production ...] and it feels really sturdy! Possibly too sturdy, given the 9kg weight and the fact that we two, ahem, fuller figured adults, plus duvet, pillows and hot water bottles are pushing the drop down bed weight capacity to the limit ... The attempt at a diet continues ...

Steve & Elaine [built for comfort, not for speed, unless it's rolling downhill :dance2:]
