I bought a memory foam one after a recommendation from Riverbankannie (IIRC), cut to fit.

The egg box design is to stop you getting hot, a bit strange initially but you soon get used to it, and it works.

Not me, I don't think. I cannot sleep on memory foam as I find it too hot.

We splashed out on a bespoke size Raskelf Duvalay Gold topper https://www.duvalay.co.uk/custom-mattress-toppers for our first motorhome 7 years ago & with a little trimming it is now modified to fit our second & still like new - the excellent washable zip up cover makes it look neat. We did get 10% discount by ordering at one of the NEC Motorhome Shows but worth following their Facebook page as they usually have one or two online sales each year - think January may be the next likely time.

We had a duvalay on our previous Bessacar. We recent bought a Frankia. Different league in the MH but have to say missing the Duvalay... wincing at the price for our new van (£ hundreds!!!)

Egg box every time look on e bay or amazon buy the double or king and cut to size ( king size does two singles )

I just bought a fitted sheet and topper from tuckmeunder great service they make them individually to fit your bed. You send them your bed size and the my do the rest. I used to have an ordinary bed topper but it was annoying as it didn’t fit the bed. The sheets are lovely and so nice to have one to fit.

We have Duvalay mattress toppers on top of Duvalay custom made Pocket Sprung Mattresses in our Swift Bolero 714SB (Single Beds) pure heaven and better than the mattress we have at home. We also have the top of the range Duvalay Pillows - these are really GOOD!
I weigh 22 Stone and this has solved all of the problem of the standard mattresses becoming progressively more & more uncomfortable to sleep on when away from home for extended periods.

We had the Raskelf topper tailor made to fit our French Quarter bed in the Hymer.

We now have the same brand of toppers to fit our twin singles in our Flair. Raskelf now trade as Duvalay, who if contacted, will advise on how to measure up exactly.

Not the cheapest I grant you, but certainly quality without making us feel too hot. (y) We opted for the Freshtec range this time round, :)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Hi Sue,
Last June we bought a memory foam topper from Jonic just to add a little more comfort to our Autosleeper Broadway 2016. It cost about £150, I think, and I was impressed by the fact that the lady I dealt with advised against more expensive options as long as our existing mattress wasn't sagging. She did say that modern memory foam is much less prone to cause people to overheat. It does add to the comfort, although every 3 or 4 days it seems to need moving back up the existing mattress, probably as we have to get out of bed over the cut-away. Jonic do have a "choose by make and model" option on their website. I'd certainly consider them. Good luck with whatever you eventually choose.

We bought a custom made Duvalay mattress for each other as a Christmas present. With the Duvalay topper we already had, it is the ultimate in comfort- the OH has had back surgery & he now sleeps for England in our van 🤣🤣

I have just give mine away did not like it, it was for French bed for Bailey motorhome .
Just to late.

Do not buy an expensive shaped one . Buy a normal one from Ikea or others then cut to shape with an electric carving knife. Very easy .

We did this. Ideal topper

I got a 5cm topper from here

Easy to cut to shape, comfortable and cool

We have the Duvalay toppers in our camper van, very comfortable. Fold away every morning, get back out at night,

We found a memory foam topper too hot, but Swmbo had a brainstorm and it works brilliantly under the mattress instead of on top.
