Over the last week I have e-mailed and left messages on their website form to a total of 6 times now and nobody has returned or even acknowledged any messages.
    All are enquiries about motorhomes.
    Is there a problem?

See your from the 'Soft South' so if you are trying to contact Marquis at Lower Upham (Southampton) the only way of getting a result from them is to present yourself at their premises.

I had extremely bad service from them a few tears* back and have no reason to believe that they have changed.

Their idea of curing a leaking window was to repaint the metal frame. Even that peeled off within five weeks. That was only one of many incidents!

    tears* = Freudian slip?

Finish off the quote properly, very appropriate.

Because I'm at the stage of moving from a smallish cheap van to spending a bit, I had loads of questions for loads of dealers about loads of vans.
So I just typed up an e-mail and cut and paste. Job done.
Premier, Robsons, Freebournes, Webbs (Warminster) and Countrywide all replied.
But Marquis who had 3 vans that were on my shortlist did not.
Sorry if I missed any others that responded. I'm sure they will let me know.

Whats the problem with it? Might be cheaper to get it sorted if you are happy with it.

I am sure Glenn will be happy to give it the onceover.

    Hi,

There are several contenders on our website all with four belts and in your price range, all fiats, fords are not that plentifull in the motorhome industry.

You will also find petrols will be virtually non excistent.

I dont know whats wrong with Marquis either (if its the one on the A22) they were going to arrange for us to view two MHs they showed us on their computer... they apparently were being brought back to their A22 site the following week We were extremely interested and very serious buyers but they didnt get back to us dispite us phoning and leaving 2 messages! Their loss cos we ended up going elsewhere and buying one from another MH dealer and spent over £40.000! (We found Johnscross on A21 are very good&helpful and so are Stewart Mouland at Peacehaven)
