Relative newbie
My first thought was another protest, glad for the pic to clear that up.

Spring has sprung! ...although a few miles up the road in Barnet it's currently belting it down!

I’ve lived there , dirty , overcrowded, expensive, crime ridden and overrated.
Not sure where in London you lived PaddyM but this was taken 5 minute's from my front door which is well inside the M25 where the sun always shines with very low crime rate and a fabulous place to live .

We lived in South Woodford for a few years quite a long time ago. We don't miss anything about it and I wouldn't have liked to bring up kids there

Worked at the Central Middlesex Hospital so lived in Harlesden , East Acton and Ealing Broadway , horrid city .
My smile was as wide as the M25 when my train left Kings Cross and I realised I never had to live there ever again

If it was the remembrance event for the veteran does anyone else find it really sad that he seems to have been totally ignored while alive then lots of people turned out when he was dead for a bit of flag waving. I never usually attend funerals unless it's to support the survivors the person in the box isn't going to know any difference.
