Maplins.. Poor service

Can't find a Company Report forum so I put this here:

I ordered cable and connectors from Maplins 'on line store' on Tues 12th but still hadn't received them by today, so I called customer service and was informed that my order would be dispatched today.. :Angry:.. I asked why the delay and was told it was due to a warehouse problem.. but they would be with me by Monday .. :Angry:
I think this is really poor service, I was hoping to do the work this weekend, more time wasted, I would have driven to the nearest store if I'd known how long it was going to take..

Try littlewoods ordered furniture in June and told 6 weeks wait at the end of this told flooding was holding things up in October told lost better reorder but 6 weeks waitoh:so cancelled and went to local firm.

In all fairness Maplins are normally good but it's just so annoying when you they let you down.. :Angry:

Well, Day 9 and still no delivery so I called customer servicies AGAIN :Angry:

More excuses and a promise of dispatch ASAP.. hmm ... so, I demand to speak to a supervisor and duly logged a complaint, but got promise of immediate dispatch..

an answer to an earlier email enquiry finally arrived..
