I am concidering a manual door step or modifying a running board eg vanpimps fox.
How do you use a maual retract step? Pull out from inside and retract lock in after use.
Is a running board enough space. Any advice from self makers modifiers, how to mount.
I have a rapido coach built the panel from cab to body is lower than door.
Before anybody mentions electric, swmbo is from Yorkshire ( how xxx much). Its 3 years gone before shes allowing me to concider a manual one

Hi, i would also consider a running board type one, as electric fitted will be almost a grand?

I share your questions though?

We had a manual slide out-step (not a Thule) under the side sliding door on the PVC we bought which was a pain with the jumping in and out to slide it out and slide it back in again, it was very quickly swapped for a Thule electric slide-out step.

I still have the old manual slide out-step which you're welcome to if you want to convince your wife of how useless it is. :giggle:
