Manual headboard problem (1 Viewer)

Our G740 is fitted with a manually adjustable headboard on the island bed. Its stopped locating in position and from looking at the mechanism it appears that its rather like a sun lounger type affair that clicks into place as you move it up and down.....but its not locking in any position

Any help greatly appreciated.

Paul, try removing the mattress then fold the rear frame as far forward as it will go, then fold backwards to the flat position and you should hear a 'click'. This should have reset the folding mechanism and allow you then to set the frame at the desired position.

We did lift the mattress and I think I pretty much did what you explained above. I did hear some clicks but it never reset. It has sort of set at random times so I was wondering if something was loose but nothing seems to be amiss. I'll give it another go tomorrow though. Thanks, Paul
