hi all, where can I get a manuel for my p Reg motohome. thanks

There'll be a Haynes manual for the base vehicle and you'll probably be able to get/download specifications and manuals for the fitted items (fridge, cooker, water heater, charger, distribution panel etc.) by entering their make and model number in a Google search.

Perhaps we have told the OP what is required. He (or she) will either never be seen again or realise what a lovely helpful group we are and join up.

Either way we have hopefully helped a fellow human being.

Post a picture of the tank showing where it's leaking.

Sadly compass motorhomes went out of business some time back, but the handbook for the compass conversions at the time was the same for all models. Maybe if somebody else has one of a similar vintage could photocopy it for you?

As for workshop manuals for the base vehicle, it is the same as the fiat ducato and fiat created one on DVD. You can usually find one on ebay for a couple of quid. The water system is the same as caravans and very basic technology

Motorhome manufacturers buy in all the appliances like heater, water heater, fusebox, oven, toilet, water pump etc from well-known brands that are common to many other motorhomes. Other MH owners may well be able to answer questions on them. Manuals/user guides are usually available on the appliance manufacturer's website, or even in the resources section of this site. If you're not sure of make/model, post a picture, someone will probably recognise it.

morning all. Thanks for all you advise, and help, I will try and look under my van to see where its leaking from, hopefully from a union and not the tank itself. I will be back at odd times as retired now so need to do the repairs myself, (not my area of expertise, can build you a house though) I am off now to look at van see you all soon Paul

Spriddler , back in 1996 ( 25 years ago) I don’t think that valve was invented lol , unless it was retro fitted
Quite so. Hence I wrote 'it may have.......'.
As the OP was looking for a manual it seemed to me that he/she could be a newbie or new owner unaware of dump valves. Quite a few threads on here have mentioned 'leaks' when recommissioning after the winter lockdown. Easy enough to check the simple things first.
If it's anything like my 26 yr old m/h there may be other non-standard fittings, upgrades, or replacements.

I was going to say something like that, but thought someone was bound to say you can't say things like that to a newbie, so missed my chance now  :(
Ha! Ha! Ha! Having already been banned for advising a newby to read the manual, I knew I was setting myself up for a potential second visit to the FLT's Coventry Bad Boys Club But as I'm currently sitting at Jasmin camping and have yet to pay my site fees, I judge I'm safe........for the moment. I wonder how many Funsters can proudly claim like me to be a member of the Coventry Bad Boys club. There must be a few of us I would think. Proud to wear the badge.
