In case it is of any use to people coming for the show.

Observed over the last couple of days.

Tesco at St Peters, Worcester and Morrisons at Three Counties Retail Park (B4208/A449 junction) was 142.9.

BP near Manor Farm CL was 143.9.

Best price seen - a small garage at Powick, just east of A449/B4424 junction was 141.9.

Ah, Powick! That name always makes me giggle I'm afraid. oh:

When I was in hospital in Kidderminster 1972 the lady in the next bed had recently had a heart attack and was now on the medical ward awaiting discharge when they decided she could. She used to live locally but now lived in Alderley Edge - but had suffered the heart attack whilst visiting an old friend for the weekend a couple of weeks earlier.

Chatting in the Day Room one day, one of the other patients said she was leaving tomorrow but not going home. My neighbour asked where she was going then? To Powick, for a little rest she said. Meant nothing to me, I wasn't local. Neighbour said immediately 'Powick? Isn't that where the looney bin used to be?' and then realised what she'd said ....... :Blush:
