Major delays into Scarborough (1 Viewer)

Anyone coming into Scarborough on the A165 be prepared for long delays... I estimate at least this week
A burst water main at Ramshill has closed one lane very near the traffic lights and temporary four way lights are in operation.
Queues can be well over a mile and the lights allow around 10 vehicles at a time every 5 or 6 minutes.
This does vary throughout the day but there are delays all day.
If possible turn left at Gristhorpe roundabout (signed for Cayton) and follow to A64 then into Scarborough.

I know all the back street shortcuts and it still took me 20mins to travel 1 mile.

I went past the hole in the road at 10:15 this morning...... Not a workman in sight and the site secured.
Obviously not a priority.

Went past an hour ago and the tarmac fairies have been but as yet the traffic light and barrier pixies haven't been.
I would expect the road will be clear by tea time and normal delays will be resumed.
