Hi everyone, can anybody enlighten me to the M6 toll road charge for a tag axle Comanche? I hear it's the same as an arctic 44t wagon? Is that right? I realise the lasers pick up axles in the bay but seriously 44t as opposed to a 5t leisure vehicle same price?

BE VERY careful... Motorhomes even with 2 axles get charged like commercial vans... £11 in daytime..
It is not like other government run tolls like dartford crossing where you get charged same as a car...

Only way you get a discount is by having membership to Caravan club ( caravan and motorhome club)..

Vehicle class Mon–Fri (06:00–23:00) Sat–Sun (06:00–23:00)
Class 1 (e.g. motorbike) £3.00 £2.80
Class 2 (e.g. car) £5.50 £4.80
Class 3 (e.g. car with trailer) £10.00 £8.60
Class 4, 5 and 6 (e.g. van/coach, HGV) £11.00 £9.60

M6 is not that bad these days unless there is a bump or you hit a real peak time..
The slip off just after Jn9 and on to the M5 is creating some small delays but once past that it's usually ok.. Stay in middle lane after JN10 . (y)
