For anyone travelling the M27 it will be closed junctions 3-4 from Friday night at 9pm until 6am Monday .

The M27 is closed again tonight at 10pm through till monday morning between junction 3 and 5 again. the posted diversion is 55 miles, but if you go into southampton you can follow the road past the docks quicker

Last time the traffic was supposedly gridlock. This time round it could be worse as the rail line to London is also fubar due to damage from a derailment. Give up and stay indoors.

We live near the M271 last time.we expected a lot of traffic but no problem. We're hoping for the same this time. If coming south o the M3 and heading west come off the M3 at junction 11 and go through Romsey and join the M27 at junction 2
