I know there is another long thread about this but all seem to be years old, so, just wondering is it still available , how much does it cost and can you leave the van all day and visit Blackpool on the bus or tram (bus pass).
Seems like a good place to try the new van out.

During the day motorhomes can park on any of our car parks, except, St Annes Square, Wood Street and Pleasant Street Car Park. You must pay for as many bays as you occupy.

We offer overnight parking on St Annes Swimming Pool Car Park only. The fee for overnight parking is a flat rate of £5.

Motorhomes cannot park on the upper section or seaward side of the car park. Parking is permitted in the lower car parks central bays only.

A maximum stay of three consecutive nights is permitted, No return within five days.

Maximum vehicle length is 10 metres.
No caravans or trailers allowed.
No open fires or BBQs allowed.

Cheers for that, I have seen that, but on another motorhome forum it says it was an experiment that ended at the end of september last year. Cant seem to find the exact state of affairs.

Yes, I also read that , but as it's still on the council web site I would assume it's still allowed..

I was there a couple of months ago, didn't stop over, just drove around the car park for a look. It's all as described, just overnight parking, no facilities included.

Thanks Tonka I know it's an old thread,I used the search bar and the thread came up so being lazy I just posted.
A friend of mine not yet converted is in the area and looking for a cheap overnight spot, I mentioned the car park but couldn't remember the details!

£8 a night anyone can stay, has water and Elsan dump..
50 Fun vans due over this weekend but many others not with our rally are here.. Lots of space and Southport town with lots of shops etc...
I am impressed and will back again..
